10 on Tuesday

1. Dane has been hunting when he gets a chance- no buck yet but he did get a coyote and a pheasant.

2. We bought a couple trees for the front and backyard-

3. Dane is on a billboard in Billings! He's in the middle-

 4. My mother-in-law made me this fabulous diaper bag- I am super excited about it.

5. While Zoey was at preschool Weston and I went to the library for story time and a craft.  He was pretty excited about the fireman hat he made.

 6. I have felt so blessed being home with these two lately- they have their moments when they fight but they are best friends.  They play and talk so cute to each other and it makes me so happy.  I feel so lucky to be their mom.

7. I scoped out all the free Halloween/Fall activities in Billings this month.  We attended Harvest Days downtown.  They got to color pumpkins, they got their faces painted, and they each got to pick a special balloon to be made just for them.  We also got to check out a lot of sidewalk shops and have a pancake breakfast.

 8. Zoey's preschool class visited the Fire Department and I took Weston along because I knew he would be excited about it. It was a lot of fun.  They watched a video on what to do when there is a fire, they got a visit from Sparky the dog, they got to check out the firetruck and see a fireman get dressed and they got to spray a play house with a fire hose!

 9. Cabelas had a kids activity last weekend and the kids got to wear their costumes and trick or treat in the store and then they got to decorate a pumpkin!
On the way home I looked in the rearview mirror and asked Dane what Weston was holding.  Dane said he is eating 4....no 5 suckers! We both started laughing- He was pretty thrilled with his bag of treats and ate as much as he could as fast as he could.

10. Dane bought a GPS recently and has started geocaching.  He has found three "treasures" so far.

We went to a pumpkin patch last weekend and it was a little disappointing with how much money we spent but the kids still seemed thrilled. The corn maze was pretty damaged and the amazing activities advertised were not very amazing.  We picked the biggest pumpkins we could find to get our money's worth.

Yesterday we colored and carved some pumpkins for Family Home Evening- Weston mostly colored his hand....

It's been a fun and eventful October!
