The week before Memorial Day we had a crazy hailstorm! It was Sunday evening and we were talking to our parents on face-time. The sound of the hail hitting the house got louder and louder. We were watching out the door and marveling at how big the hail was. We hadn't realized what it had done to our house. When the storm ended we saw some of our neighbors pointing at our house and trying to tell us something. Soon we realized there were holes! Luckily it is only on the back side of our house but our whole neighborhood looks like this! Insurance and construction companies in Billings are going to be pretty busy for a while. We are still waiting for our Insurance adjuster to come and look at it which could take another month or two. We are for sure going to need new siding and a new roof. On the news it said the hail got as big as 3 inches in diameter! We were grateful we were safe in our home- and our cars were in the garage and we are grateful we have insurance!
