Best day EVER!

I felt bad for Dane this year because he didn't get to hunt as much since we moved and he is working a lot of hours with his new job.

He also didn't have residency in Montana yet so he had to hunt in Idaho.

Luckily he had the opportunity to hunt in Rexburg the last two Saturdays. He shot a little buck last Saturday in Saint Anthony. When Dane shoots a deer he is like a little kid at Christmas. It is pretty entertaining.
He even shot it with his bow!
The deer was tied to the back of our friend Matt's car to get it back to Rexburg. They said they got a lot of funny looks from trick or treater's.
The deer was then hung from the phone pole by Matt's apartment complex (where we used to live) where they skinned it by using a truck and rope. (Ask Dane for more details).
We were lucky we got the deer home because we had to load the stroller, Zoey, two suitcases, and Dane's hunting gear into our little Nissan.
Don't worry, it wasn't in the backseat staring at Zoey, it was quartered and put in a garbage sack in the trunk.
We decided it was time to invest in a meat grinder.

It works VERY well compared to our $10 one from DI.
