We got all ready with our swimsuits, sandals, and fishing poles preparing for a great day in the water. The Landlord informed us on the road that we were going to the back of Mesa Falls because the view was incredible. After riding in the suburban for a while we stopped and unloaded the 4-Wheeler. 5 adults and 1 baby squeezed onto this one 4-wheeler. The back rack of the 4-wheeler was occupied with a bunch of padding that we could lean on. So Brittany rode behind the landlord on the seat and I rode in front of the landlord on the seat while Dane, Brannan, and Zoey rode on the front rack of the 4-wheeler. We rode for about 10 miles on a bumpy dirt road.
Finally we stopped, got off and began hiking in the woods. The Landlord kept saying, where do you think the falls are? And then he would stop and mark the area with a large stick he found. After hiking for a while along a cliff the Landlord said, "We just need to go down this cliff." We all looked at each other in disbelief. Then he said maybe just the men should go. Dane decided not to because he was wearing sandals and shorts. Only the Landlord ended up sliding down the cliff until we couldn't see him anymore.
After waiting a few minutes he popped back up and it was time to head home. We hiked back to the 4-Wheeler and then rode the 4-wheeler back to the Suburban and so forth.
Zoey did not cry at all on the 4-wheeler ride or on the hike (I think she liked the bumps). She only cried a little in the Suburban.
