Dane and I had Saturday off last week so we went to DC Friday after work and stayed in a hotel and then we went to the temple the next day. It was our valentines treat. We had a great time. The temple was beautiful and it was a nice sunny day. The hotel room looks inviting but it was a feather comforter and extremely hot. We attempted going to DC to look around after we went to the temple but it was INTENSE. There were people everywhere and it took us an hour to find a parking spot, so we just ate and decided to go home. It was nice to go out.

Oh you made me miss Maryland! DC is intense, but the temple is so beautiful. Glad you were able to get out and have some fun! We miss you guys!
DC is my favorite temple. I am glad you got to experience it. If you get another chance to go to the city, take the Metro in.
